Swim Into Shabbat With PJ Library

Pack up the kids and head to the Alper JCC for a fun-filled pre-Shabbat pool party with PJ Library on Friday, August 5, 5-6:30 p.m.! Meet poolside to celebrate Shabbat with a swim, snack and storytime. Click here for more information and to RSVP for the free event by Tuesday, August 2. PJ Library sends free, award-winning books that celebrate Jewish values and culture to families with children from birth through 12 years old. Additionally, the group organizes family-friendly events in Miami based around Jewish learning and values. To begin receiving free Jewish books in the mail every month, register here. PJ Library is a gift from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation made possible by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Blank Family Foundation.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami (RAGM) are horrified and saddened over the mass shooting in Sydney, Australia, targeting the Jewish community during a Hanukkah celebration and murdering at least 11 people and injuring dozens more.
