Program Brings Together Fathers and Sons in Ukraine

Fathers and sons in Kiev, Ukraine are bonding while strengthening their Jewish identity through an innovative program sponsored by Federation overseas partner The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). “Like Father, Like Son” brings together fathers and sons for educational and recreational activities at the JDC-supported JCC Halom. Activities have included bowling, Shabbat celebrations and Havdalah services. The initiative provides a welcoming environment for meaningful experiences and an engaging way to learn about Jewish history and traditions.
