Lend a Hand This Holiday Season With JVC

Join Federation and our Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC) for Season for Giving 2024, offering hands-on opportunities to help meet needs throughout Miami and ensure that vulnerable individuals and families have a happy holiday season. The 17th Annual Jewish Community Volunteer Days offers a variety of unique activities and projects to get involved and give back to our neighbors. Whether you choose to celebrate Shabbat with residents of a local assisted living facility, read Chanukah books to Miami’s elementary-aged students, serve Christmas lunch to individuals and families at The Salvation Army or help children at Ronald McDonald House create special comfort bears, you will do good and feel good! Programming runs throughout the month of December and many of the opportunities are family-friendly. Season for Giving is one of JVC’s most rewarding, and popular, traditions. With tremendous joy and relief the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami (RAGM) welcome the announcement that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza that, if goes as planned, will result in the release of all remaining hostages in the coming days.
