Women’s Spirit Bridal Boutique Helps Outfit Israeli Brides

As the war continues, so, too, does life in Israel, including simchahs like weddings, even when the brides are called to serve in the IDF. The bridal boutique at Women’s Spirit is ensuring wartime brides have everything they need to celebrate their special day, even if that means only a brief respite from the front lines. A frequent recipient of grants from the Federation's Women’s Amutot Initiative, Women’s Spirit is an Israeli nonprofit offering women survivors of domestic abuse long-term solutions to escape the vicious cycle by focusing on employment and financial empowerment. The bridal boutique serves as a unique social enterprise. Open to any bride-to-be looking for more affordable dress options, the bridal boutique's inventory includes gowns that have been donated by top Israeli designers. All proceeds from the sales of bridal gowns go toward Women’s Spirit programming and help to expand the awareness and importance of financial independence for survivors of abuse.
