CAJE Miami Responds to the Crisis in Israel

As the educational arm of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) is working diligently to provide members of Miami’s Jewish community with resources to help stand with Israel during the ongoing war, find comfort, talk with children and students and take action. In collaboration with Federation and its other partners, CAJE is organizing mental health workshops and information for professionals, schools, parents and youth; educational assistance for Israelis in Miami seeking respite from the war and other critical support. CAJE’s blog outlines many of its activities, including communications with Miami-area Jewish day schools, early childhood education centers and congregational schools and even a program through the Miami Jewish Film Festival that honored an Israeli filmmaker murdered by Hamas on October 7. Also featured on the blog are suggested responses to disinformation online, as well as resources for parents and teachers on how to talk to children and students about the war.
