Donate Now to Help Victims of Morocco’s Deadly Earthquake

Immediately following the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Morocco on Saturday, September 9, Federation established an emergency relief fund to bring critical aid to all those affected by the disaster. Our overseas partners, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, IsraAid, Cadena and Natan, are on the ground providing humanitarian assistance and life-saving necessities directly to those in need, including food, water, diapers, hygiene kits, blankets and clothing, along with medical equipment for damaged health facilities. Already, thousands have been confirmed dead and thousands more are critically injured and remain missing. Your support is urgently needed. Please click here now to make a secure donation online. As always, Federation will absorb all administrative costs so that 100 percent of funds collected will go directly to those impacted by the catastrophe. Donation checks with the notation “Morocco Earthquake Emergency Fund” can be mailed to: Greater Miami Jewish Federation, 4200 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33137. For assistance, you may also call 305.576.4000.
