Israeli Youth Organization Leaders Visit Jewish Miami

Nineteen top executives from organizations that educate and empower Israeli youth recently visited Miami to learn about Federation’s work with children and teens, tour local sites and explore meaningful future partnerships. The delegation was from the Council for Youth Organizations (COYO), Israel’s official representative body of 21 independent organizations that serve diverse Israeli communities dedicated to promoting responsibility, civic engagement and societal contributions among their youth. Post-October 7, through Federation funding, many COYO participants have been trained to respond to emergencies and help communities build resilience. During their week-long stay in South Florida, the group met with leaders from four Jewish federations, toured Jewish day schools and JCCs, joined in workshops on antisemitism and Israel engagement with The Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education and much more. They even observed Super Sunday, learning how we engage teens in a unique way.
