Greater Miami Jewish Federation, JCRC, RAGM outraged by “Heil Hitler” song performed at Miami Beach nightclub
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), and the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami (RAGM) are disgusted and outraged by the playing of a “Heil Hitler” song at Vendôme, a Miami Beach nightclub, over the weekend — reportedly at the request of known virulently antisemitic influencers.
The casual use of Nazi glorification in any space is reprehensible, deeply harmful to our community, and incompatible with the values of Miami Beach and South Florida. Such conduct normalizes hatred, emboldens extremists, and retraumatizes Holocaust survivors and their families.
We appreciate Vendôme’s prompt apology and condemnation of the incident, as well as its commitment to investigate how this occurred. We have requested a private meeting with Vendôme leadership to discuss concrete steps to prevent anything like this from happening again.
In partnership with Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, we have also offered an educational tour of the Memorial for Vendôme’s entire staff so they can better understand the real-world consequences of unchecked antisemitism and hate.
We expect transparency from Vendôme regarding the findings of its internal investigation and the safeguards it will implement going forward, and we will continue to engage until meaningful protections are in place.
