Register Now for The Main Event

Join your Jewish community to stand strong for Israel at The Main Event of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation on Sunday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Loews Miami Beach. For the first time in Federation history, 16 Past Presidents and Board Chairs — Norman H. Lipoff, Aaron Podhurst, Donald E. Lefton, Steven J. Kravitz, Nedra Oren, Michael Scheck, Norman Braman, Ezra Katz, Saby Behar, William Lehman, Barbara Black Goldfarb, Brian L. Bilzin, Robert G. Berrin, the Hon. Amy N. Dean, Jeffrey Scheck and Isaac K. “Ike” Fisher — will come together as a Host Committee to pay homage to Federation President and CEO Jacob Solomon with the Friend of Israel Humanitarian Award. We are also delighted to welcome Guest of Honor Israeli Ambassador to the United States His Excellency Michael Herzog and keynote speaker His Excellency Reuven Rivlin, 10th President of the State of Israel. Federation Chair of the Board Ariel Bentata and General Campaign Chair Lily Serviansky will co-chair the event, which will feature a memorable musical performance by the Israel Defense Forces Special in Uniform Band. Couvert is $136 per person, $90 for Jewish communal professionals and $54 for those age 30 and under, and includes a light buffet dinner and dessert reception. Click here to RSVP.

Through our Indigent Burial Program, managed by Mishkan Miami, The Jewish Connection for Spiritual Support, Federation partners with local cemeteries, funeral homes and monument makers to provide burial plots and Jewish interment for individuals who are unable to afford them.
