Youth Futures Extends Reach in Yerucham Following October 7

Since the October 7 terrorist attacks, Federation has deepened its support of Youth Futures, specifically in our partnership city of Yerucham, Israel. A longtime Federation partner, Youth Futures empowers teens to serve as role models and helps at-risk families flourish. Through allocations from Federation's Israel Emergency Fund in the aftermath of October 7, Yerucham's vulnerable children and families received additional aid including financial grants for immediate needs and economic distress, individual and family therapy in a variety of modalities and even computers, enabling displaced children to participate in distance learning. Youth Futures' employees also benefited from professional workshops with their teams nationwide. Operating in all three local elementary schools and one of three middle schools, the program is meeting the needs of hundreds of children and their families.
