On Friday, June 13, 2014, 40 people between the ages of 22 to 26 from Miami’s Jewish Community, met at Newark Airport for the trip of a lifetime—a 10-day Taglit Birthright Trip through Israel. Here is a log of their experiences from a few of the participants.

Day 1

I'm a proud Jewish young man who joined this adventure with not a single expectation in mind. Already I couldn't be more excited. Everyone seems so amazingly welcoming. Coming from a guy who gets all kinds of stereotypes, these my fellow Jewish peers, showed me nothing but love and whole hearted openness. I'm not afraid to speak up and be myself with all of these new amazing people.
