To end on a positive note, the last day we had a wonderful time in Tel Aviv and I actually laid Tefillin and had my Bar Mitzvah! It was extremely meaningful for me and I felt this was the best possible way to end my personal Israel experience. I give thanks to all who made this life-changing trip possible for me and my new family of peers. I also give thanks to Julia and Alexis, who were excellent leaders and, as well, to Chen, our Israeli security guard who was as much a part of the group as everyone else, but made our safety a prevailing precedent. And of course, Hagai was the key factor in us having the trip of a lifetime. I'm determined to return to Israel and one day I will own a vacation house in Tel Aviv.
