Day 8: Reaching the international community

In Miami-Dade County, international community leaders play a monumental role in building community partnerships, educating the broader public and opposing antisemitism, racism and other forms of discrimination.

Fuente Latina, a Federation-funded partner, plays a key role in this outreach. This year, Fuente Latina launched the first-ever Latin-Jewish Media and Entertainment Alliance featuring more than 200 prominent non-Jewish signatories with the goal of using star power to fight antisemitism in the Hispanic world. Alliance members publish stories about antisemitism on their platforms, attend seminars about media literacy and disinformation and travel to Israel to learn more about the Jewish State.
