29th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference

Loneliness and social isolation can have a profound effect on our health and wellbeing, particularly as we age. This topic will be explored at the 29th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference on Thursday, June 4 at Miami Jewish Health. Presented by Federation’s Mishkan Miami, Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Miami Jewish Health, the conference is entitled Pathways to Connections: Overcoming Loneliness Through Creating Communities of Concern. This practical forum is for caring professionals, community and spiritual leaders and all those concerned with enriching the lives of older adults. The program will feature developmental psychologist and researcher Eileen Kranz Graham, PhD, and noted psychotherapist and author, Rabbi M. Gary Neuman, LMHC. The cost to attend is $36 per person and includes lunch and continuing education credits for qualified participants. Click here to register.
