JCRC is Jewish Miami Strong at the Florida Capitol for Israel and Jewish Advocacy Days

Last week, Jewish Miami was well represented at the Second Annual Israel and Jewish Advocacy Days at the Florida Capitol. More than 50 Miami participants joined the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation to meet with a bipartisan delegation of state legislators about antisemitism, Israel and other issues of importance to the Jewish community. Numerous Jewish organizations from across the state, including 10 Jewish Federations and five Hillels, made the days especially collaborative and created an impressive showcase of unity among the 175 attendees. "This mission is vital because it gives Florida's Jewish community a powerful opportunity to advocate for our legislative priorities while expressing gratitude to our partners at the Capitol," said JCRC Chair Steven Scheck. “It was especially meaningful to hear Jewish college students share their experiences on campus, bringing urgency and authenticity to the conversation.”
