Streamlining Assistance for IDF Reservists and Their Families

In the past week, 110,000 IDF reservists have been called to duty and the newly established National Headquarters for Families of Reserve Service Members is already operating to meet the urgent needs of reservists and their families. Launched last October with Federation funding and in partnership with the government of Israel, the initiative keeps track of mobilized reservists and their families, while coordinating municipal emergency command centers. This streamlined support enables clear communication and help for struggling families so they no longer need to manage bureaucratic challenges alone. With Federation’s foresight and robust relationships, this critical infrastructure was built in advance, allowing vital assistance to be delivered immediately.
