Commemorate Kristallnacht With Jewish Miami
Join Miami’s Jewish community Sunday, November 9 at Temple Beth Sholom to commemorate Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass. Beginning at 6 p.m., the program will be led by the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, in partnership with other nonprofit and civic organizations. During this evening of reflection, prayer and music, we will honor the memory of the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, hear the testimony of an eyewitness to the Holocaust and pay homage to the resilience of Survivors. Kristallnacht, which occurred in November 1938, is a symbol of the poisonous, unbridled hatred of Jews that signaled the start of the Holocaust. For more information, click here.
