Commemorate Kristallnacht With Jewish Miami

Join Miami’s Jewish community next Sunday, November 9 at Temple Beth Sholom to commemorate Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass. Beginning at 6 p.m., the program will be led by the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, in partnership with other nonprofit and civic organizations. We will come together to honor the memory of the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, hear the testimony of an eyewitness to the Holocaust and honor the resilience of Survivors. Guests will also pay tribute to the legacy of David Schaecter, z”l, one of Miami’s truly remarkable Holocaust Survivors and a Founding Member of the Holocaust Memorial. Kristallnacht, which occurred in November 1938, is a symbol of the power of unbridled anti-Jewish hatred that signaled the start of the Holocaust. For more information, click here.
