Federation Supports IDF Reservist Families Through the Reservists’ Wives Forum

While we welcome the ceasefire and pray it holds, Federation continues to assist IDF reservists and their families through the Reservists’ Wives Forum. Founded in 2023 by partners of reservists, the nonprofit represents 100,000 reservist families facing employment and mental health challenges. With the current reserve system geared toward short-term wars, recent extended service demands have left soldiers and their families in economic and emotional distress. In the past year, the Forum has built government support programs, helped pass groundbreaking legislation for employment protection and compensation and prevented hundreds of job dismissals and furloughs. Federation's unwavering commitment to Israel’s citizens demonstrates that they are not alone.
