Bringing Israel to Miami

A warm welcome to Tamar Kolumbus, who recently arrived from Israel to serve as Miami’s community shlicha (emissary). Working out of Federation headquarters, Kolumbus will serve as a community resource for all things Israel. She will help Miami’s Jewish organizations incorporate Israel into programming, assist them in developing events around holidays and strengthen our community’s connection to Israel. A primary area of focus will be the Miami-Yerucham Partnership. Tamar and her husband, Barak, are excited to make Miami their new home. Learn more about Tamar here.
