Families in Israel Struggling with Poverty Find Help

Israeli families are able to improve their standard of living with the help of your donation to the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign. Families First, a program run by our overseas partner, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), brings a holistic approach to the challenges presented by poverty. Parents are matched with social workers and mentors who guide them through job counseling, educational opportunities, family budgeting as well as help with child-related issues. More than 5,100 families are being helped through the program. Click here to see how the initiative helped Liana.
