JCRC Helps Improve Teaching Around Middle Eastern and Jewish History

Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) is helping educate thousands of Miami public school students on Israel, the Middle East and other topics relating to Judaism and Jewish history. On Tuesday, November 6, a representative from the Institute for Curriculum Services (ICS) will visit Miami Springs Senior High School to train 30 middle and high school teachers on issues in the Middle East and environmental concerns in the region. By training teachers, ICS, in partnership with JCRC, is improving the quality of education about Jews, Judaism and Israel in the United States.
