Jewish Incubator Grants Support Diverse Miami Populations

Federation is strengthening Jewish identity and addressing community needs through our Jewish Incubator Grants Committee, which recently allocated $100,000 to 18 Miami organizations spearheading innovative programs. Co-chaired by Charles Penan and Jillian Postal, the committee awarded grants that focus on a wide variety of needs. Funding will help provide counseling services for Jewish families impacted by incarceration; enrichment activities and support services for Holocaust Survivors and older adults; safe and welcoming Orthodox Shabbat experiences for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families; emotional support and financial aid for couples facing fertility challenges and inclusive afterschool recreational opportunities for Jewish youth with disabilities.
