Miami Jewish Film Festival Celebrates a Successful Program

That’s a wrap! The internationally renowned Miami Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) celebrated its 25th year with its most successful showing yet. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, a record-setting 60,000 movie lovers enjoyed both outdoor screenings and virtual viewings of more than 140 film premieres from all over the world and more than 40 conversations with film talent, directors and experts. To top it off, the City of Miami Beach recognized the extraordinary impact of MJFF by officially marking January 20 as Miami Jewish Film Festival Day! We are immensely grateful to the City of Miami Beach, Commissioner Alex Fernandez and Mayor Dan Gelber for this tremendous recognition. Plans are well underway for more movie magic at next year’s festival, January 12-26, 2023. MJFF is a program of the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education, a subsidiary agency of Federation.
