Young Adults Can Find Community With YLD’s Newish and Jewish

Are you a young professional looking to meet others from the Miami community? Federation’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) is offering a unique opportunity to connect with your peers through Newish and Jewish. Participants gather in pods of no more than 12 people to unwind, make new friends and create community in a social space, such as a bar or restaurant. Pods will meet three times and attendance is expected at all of the gatherings on Tuesday, March 29, Tuesday, April 12 and Tuesday, May 10. Even if you have already participated in the program, you can join us again — new year, new pod! “The small groups create an intimate environment to form meaningful connections with other like-minded young Jewish professionals,” said Michelle Kahan, participant and chair of the initiative. “I have met wonderful friends through the pods and learned a lot about Federation in the process.” For more information and to register by the March 21 deadline, click here.
