Federation’s Office of Community Security Help Educate Local Institutions

Federation’s Office of Community Security (OCS) is collaborating with our partner agencies to provide strategic guidance to our local institutions. Next month, in partnership with the Anti Defamation League (ADL), it will host a community-wide High Holiday Security Conference. Security directors and executives from area synagogues, Jewish schools and volunteer leaders, as well as law enforcement representing federal, state and local agencies are expected to attend.

Over the past year, OCS has conducted more than 40 on-site assessments and strategic consultations with various executives and directors at Miami-Dade County Jewish institutions. Since its inception in 2016, OCS has convened more than 300 people representing approximately 120 Jewish institutions.

For more information, please contact Brenda Moxley, Director of Community Security, at [email protected] or 786.866.8379 to schedule a site-visit.
