Israel at 70 Mission Makes Donation to New Olim

Following April's Greater Miami Jewish Federation Israel at 70 Mission, participants donated toiletries, raincoats and other items to a group of Ethiopian-Israelis who recently made aliyah. Federation’s overseas partner, The Jewish Agency for Israel, helped facilitate the large donation. The new olim (immigrants) are living in one of The Jewish Agency’s absorption centers, where they are learning Hebrew and becoming acquainted with Israeli society. More than 16,500 people from all over the world immigrated to Israel in 2017.
