Overnight Summer Camp Scholarships

Federation is committed to making the Jewish overnight summer camp experience accessible to all children. Shabbatot by the campfire, havdalah under the stars, competitive color wars and rikkud (dance) sessions are a few of the fun and creative ways campers can explore the many facets of their Jewish identity. Those summers lay the foundation for a strong and positive Jewish connection. That’s why Federation offers two options to help offset tuition costs for Miami-Dade County residents. Partnering with One Happy Camper, a program of the Foundation for Jewish Camp, and Jewish overnight camps across North America, Federation provides need-blind grants of up to $1,000 to families with first-time campers who attend public school or non-Jewish private school. Federation is also accepting applications for our 2024 Jewish Overnight Summer Camp Scholarships for children ages 8-17 who can demonstrate financial need. Click here to learn more and access the application before the deadline of Wednesday, January 31.
