Greater Miami Jewish Federation Mourns the Loss of Beloved Miami Beach Rabbi

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation joins our Jewish community in mourning the loss of Rav Pinchas Aharon Weberman, President of the Orthodox Council of South Florida and Founder of Congregation of Ohev Shalom, who selflessly served the Miami Beach community for more than six decades. A "rabbi's rabbi," he was deeply respected in Miami, served as chaplain for the Miami Beach Police and was the founder and visionary of the Miami Beach Eruv Council. With his vast knowledge of Torah, he taught at the Yeshiva Gedola of Miami, Toras Chaim and Bais Yaakov. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys Lea Weberman, z"l, and leaves behind 15 children. May the memory of Rabbi Weberman be for a blessing and forever inspire us all. We extend our deepest condolences to his family. May they find comfort among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
