Saul Schottenstein Foundation Continues to Make a Difference

Thanks to a generous contribution from the Saul Schottenstein Foundation, clients of Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) Kosher Food Bank will receive a grocery gift card to supplement their food packages provided for the New Year. This thoughtful gift enables recipients to welcome 5784 with a few extra items on their holiday table. The cards allow individuals and families to shop in stores with dignity for special items they want to include in their holiday celebration, whether that means ingredients for a delicious honey cake or fresh flowers for the table. Grocery gift cards are also distributed ahead of Chanukah and Pesach and during the summer. A World War II veteran and a leader in charitable and business endeavors, Saul Schottenstein enjoyed his time at his second home in Miami and was committed to supporting those who needed a helping hand. We are grateful for his philanthropy, which continues to touch hundreds of lives every year. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact our Jewish community's confidential helpline at 305.576.6550.
