Supporting Jewish Miami’s Security Practices

Federation’s Office of Community Security (OCS) remains vigilant in supporting our Jewish community, especially amidst a climate of increased antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment. Tasked with supporting the security posture of synagogues, schools, camps and other Jewish institutions throughout Miami-Dade County, OCS focuses on real-time intelligence to better advise on necessary security adjustments. It assists in keeping Jewish spaces safe through infrastructure support and guidance, offers critical training intended to save lives during a tragedy and provides timely intelligence updates through partnerships with local and federal authorities. OCS is in frequent contact with state and local law enforcement and with colleagues at the Secure Community Network. To learn how your Jewish organization can receive training and support, email [email protected]. Click here to report an immediate security concern or incident.
