Welcome Shavuot With Mishkan Miami

Join Jewish Miami on Sunday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Climbing Mount Sinai: A Morning of Spiritual Preparation for Shavuot Eve. The event, taking place at Federation, includes a kosher brunch and is sponsored by Federation’s Mishkan Miami and its Refuat HaNefesh Alumni Fellows. While the group will stop short of staying up all night to study Torah, as is typically the custom to welcome Shavuot, we will spend the morning preparing our souls to receive the Torah anew through music and mediation, an interactive text study of the Ten Commandments with Rabbi Cheryl Weiner and guided journaling for reflection and renewal with Merle Saferstein. There is no cost to attend, but a $10 donation is appreciated. To register, click here. For more information, please email [email protected] or call 786.866.8655.
