Women’s Impact Initiative Supports Women and Girls in Jewish Miami

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation is supporting 12 Jewish Miami organizations that encourage and inspire Jewish women and girls through the Women’s Impact Initiative. These include FIU Hillel and University of Miami Hillel for a Shabbaton and day missions that explore local Jewish resources. Allocations to the Miami Beach JCC’s Empower mentor program help further professional skills in teen girls. Grant recipients, such as Chabad Lubavitch Russian Center and Jewish Orthodox Women’s Medical Association, promote women’s health and wellbeing. Others, like The Kallah Project of South Florida, a communal bridal boutique, and Yotzer Ohr Academy of Torah and Art for Girls, which introduces students to film production, enable Jewish Miami girls and women to fulfill their dreams.
