UM and FIU Students Visit Yerucham on Taglit-Birthright

Students from University of Miami Hillel and Hillel at FIU recently participated in Taglit-Birthright Israel and visited Miami’s partnership city of Yerucham. The groups enjoyed a drum circle and saw a breathtaking, panoramic view of the Large Crater from Mount Avnun. The UM Hillel participants met with students from a music conservatory, while the FIU students visited with participants in the Youth Futures Program. These experiences provided Hillel students with a full understanding of the significance of the Miami-Yerucham connection. The Annual Federation/UJA Campaign supports seven Hillels across Florida: Central Florida Hillel, Hillel at FIU, Hillel at FSU, Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach, Hillels of Florida Suncoast, UF Hillel and UM Hillel.
