A Young Donor Creates a Lasting Jewish Legacy

It’s natural to assume that creating an endowment for the Jewish community is an act of generosity only accessible to older, more established individuals. But at 33 years old, Pearleen Lederman is demonstrating the alternative with her commitment to The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. “Giving is in my DNA and is one of my core values,” said Lederman, incoming Co-Chair of Federation’s Young Leadership Division and a new member of The Foundation’s Heritage Society. “I learned this from my grandparents and my parents.” Through The Foundation’s Legacy Match Life Insurance Program, Lederman is able to easily leverage her gift through life insurance, especially with The Foundation paying 50 percent of the annual premium. May is Leave a Legacy Month and a great time to consider making your own impact through legacy giving. Click here to read an interview with Lederman.
