Estate Planning

Financial Forms

As we approach the end of our lives, or even well before, it is incumbent upon us to establish an estate plan for the distribution of our material assets.

Consider the following:

  • Who is handling our financial planning and knows where all of our assets are?
  • Who will be the executor of our material will and who will be drawing up that will and witnessing it?
  • Who has the keys to the safety deposit box, the house, the car, etc.?
  • Who knows the passwords to the computer or the smartphone?
  • Who has the funeral contract and knows who to call when we are ill or when we die?
  • If we can no longer make financial decisions, who will do that for us?
  • Who will hold the Power of Attorney? We must choose that person when we are competent to do so.
