The Israel at 70 Miami Mission was full of wonder and ruach, but the last day provided a sense of community that will always be remembered. On Sunday, April 22, participants gathered in the Jerusalem Theatre for a historic — and surprise — event with Koolulam, the Israeli social action singing sensation.

May is Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM), which recognizes the more than 350-year history of Jewish contributions to American culture and provides educators the opportunity to teach diversity, cultural awareness and tolerance.

Designed by Federation subsidiary agency the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE), in collaboration with the Avi Chai Foundation, JBlend combines traditional instruction with digital tools to provide highly personalized student experiences and introduce new models for lifelong learning in four of Miami’s Jewish day schools.

Calling all Aventura Moms and Dads! Meet your new PJ Library Aventura Community Connector, Suzanne Gindi, at an upcoming activity this summer. Suzanne will help local families with young children build social connections and engage in Jewish life, programming and learning by hosting family-focused activities in the Aventura area.

Less than one week ago, 825 Miamians had a private audience with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. It was a fitting finale to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Israel at 70 Miami Mission.

Seven exceptional Jewish teens have been selected for the inaugural cohort of the Stephen Muss Impact Fellowship. Thanks to the generosity of Stephen Muss and Federation, the group will spend this fall studying at Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI).
