Tell Congress to Protect the Jewish Community

More than $1 billion! According to a new report from the Jewish Federations of North America, that’s the Jewish community’s cost to secure our schools, synagogues, camps and other institutions. Now is the time to tell Congress: Take action to protect the Jewish community! The bipartisan Jewish American Security Act would strengthen protections for Jewish communities through increased security funding, stronger student protections and new tools to combat antisemitism. Enhanced security spending is diverting funds that could pay for teachers, summer camps, elder care and other programs. And yet, it is a necessity in today’s Jewish world, as assaults linked to antisemitism have reached their highest level since the ADL began tracking them in 1979.
