Federation Support Inspiring Jewish College Students to Become Rabbis

Engaging hundreds of thousands of Jewish college students annually — including thousands on eight Federation-supported Florida campuses — Hillel is also actively inspiring a new generation to become rabbinical leaders. Through partnerships with numerous other organizations, Hillel is training 150 Jewish students this academic year to serve as ritual, song and community leaders at their campus Hillel. Additionally, they are hosting immersive retreats where early-career Hillel professionals can explore rabbinic pathways, while also supporting mid-career professionals to pursue rabbinic training. By working within its broad population — from inspired college students to Jewish professionals — Hillel is aiding in the recruitment, training, placement and retention of clergy to serve the Jewish people now and in the future.
