Holocaust Education Week Begins Sunday with a Virtual Community Commemoration of Kristallnacht

Holocaust Education Week begins Sunday, November 7 with Kristallnacht: “The Night of Broken Glass,” a virtual community commemoration that honors one of the most tragic days in Jewish history widely regarded as the spark that ignited the Holocaust. The week continues with daily programming through Friday, November 12 and includes a photography exhibit, discussion panels with Survivors and a public film screening of The Zookeeper’s Wife. Presented by the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the community-wide program brings Holocaust education to the forefront. All events will be virtual, unless otherwise noted, free of charge and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
