JCRC Advocates for Jewish Causes

As the public policy arm of Federation, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) advocates for the priorities of Miami’s Jewish community. This summer, JCRC is playing an active role supporting critical legislation in Congress, including on Holocaust education (Never Again Education Act) and Holocaust assistance for Survivors (TIME for Holocaust Survivors Act). JCRC members are visiting the offices of Miami Dade’s Congressional delegation to advocate for these and other pieces of legislation. Earlier this summer, JCRC representative Jeremy Kahn met with the Deputy Chief of Staff for Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Miguel Otero (pictured on left). Successfully building upon our outreach and educational programs and intensifying our advocacy initiatives are dependent upon the engagement of our volunteer leadership,” said JCRC Chair Tracey Spiegelman.
