Women’s Philanthropy Visits Kosher Food Bank

Members of the Women’s Philanthropy Central Board visited Jewish Community Services (JCS) Kosher Food Bank, a Federation partner agency, to see firsthand how their donations to the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign make an impact. The site visit was an eye-opening experience where the women heard about food insecurity in our community and the many needs associated with it. With Federation support, the food bank provides services to hundreds of at-risk families and low-income seniors in Miami who receive a variety of non-perishable staples, canned goods, fresh produce, meat and frozen items, along with assistance in job searches, counseling, scholarships and much more. Click here to make a donation to the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign.
