Federation is proud to announce that the Board of Directors recently passed a Diversity and Inclusion Statement. The 2014 Federation Demographic Study revealed that Miami-Dade County is one of the most diverse Jewish communties in the United States.

Your support of the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign is helping revitalize and strengthen Hungary’s Jewish community. This year’s grants will help 23 Israeli nonprofits that work to protect women against violence, foster female leadership development and encourage social and economic empowerment.

Miami’s partnership city of Yerucham is in the spotlight, thanks to the Miami Jewish Film Festival’s inaugural City to City Program. On Tuesday, January 23 at 8:30 p.m. at the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center, six short movies created by Yerucham filmmakers will showcase the broad range of talent coming out of the Negev Desert.

For the third year in a row, Federation has allocated $50,000 in Women’s Impact Initiative (WII) grants to organizations that inspire and empower Jewish women and girls and improve our local community with programs in Miami that pursue social, economic, religious and political equality.
