Miami Beach Branch

For many people, the words “Miami Beach” conjure up images of flashy restaurants, expensive hotels, pristine golf courses and glitzy nightlife. But look a little closer and you’ll find much more – a region bustling with both longtime residents and friendly new faces, and a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community with synagogues serving all streams of Judaism.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has long been an integral part of Miami Beach and its history, helping to establish and support a large number of institutions in the area. Many of the youngest members of the community attend a Federation-supported Jewish Day School or synagogue religious school, while low-income seniors enjoy the expert care and quality of life at Federation Towers.

Miami Beach is also home to the Jewish Museum of Florida and the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, landmarks visited by thousands each year. And Miami's newest JCC, the Galbut Family Miami Beach Jewish Community Center on the Simkins Family Campus, brings endless opportunities for you and your family to connect with your community.

With a deep commitment to helping Jewish people in need, members of the Miami Beach community actively support the Annual Federation Campaign. Federation’s Miami Beach Division works closely with residents, as well as local synagogues, partner agencies and other organizations, to educate people about Federation’s vital work in Miami, in Israel and worldwide.

We can help you get involved in your Jewish community, meet new people and reconnect with old friends, find exciting volunteer opportunities, explore new ideas and make a difference.
