Day 5: Get to Know the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)

The ADL, a Federation-funded partner, is one of the premier organizations focused on combating antisemitism and hate across both in-person and online mediums. A recent report published by the ADL’s Center on Extremism in fall 2022, “Hate in the Sunshine State: Extremism and Antisemitism in Florida, 2020-2022” explores the growing problem of extremism in Florida and how the ADL has been leading the fight to tackle it.

In particular, ADL’s Center on Extremism takes a deep dive into the multi-faceted network of extremist organizations, providing essential intel to law enforcement that assists them in their investigations. ADL is also a welcome partner in encouraging public officials and institutions to forcefully condemn hatred wherever they see it, passing and enforcing legislation that protects marginalized communities and protecting free and fair elections.
