Adult Learning Advisory Board

The CAJE Adult Learning Advisory Board steers the department of Adult Learning at CAJE. This committee defines the vision and mission of CAJE Adult Learning work, particularly setting goals for CAJE's capacity building work in adult Jewish learning across the community.

The Mission of Adult Learning & Growth: The Center for Jewish Ideas and Engagement is to empower learners to find meaning, purpose, and connection in their Jewish lives. Together with stellar faculty and scholars, they offer stimulating, relevant, and dynamic Jewish learning experiences that introduce big Jewish ideas and cultivate meaningful intellectual relationships among life-long learners.

CAJE’s Adult Learning presents 45–60 virtual courses each year across three semesters—Fall, Spring, and Summer—plus free programs offered virtually and in person. The community-wide speaker series, SAGES in the 305, brings inspiring voices and fresh perspectives to Jewish life.

The Day School Parent Program fills a long-overlooked gap in adult Jewish learning, engaging local day school parents with tailored programs that inspire Jewish living and strengthen connections at home and in school.

The Salon Series offers small, affinity-based groups the chance to read, debate, and exchange ideas in intimate home settings. Guided by skilled moderators, participants explore the most pressing and complex issues facing the Jewish community today.

CAJE Adult Learning’s faculty of distinguished scholars, professors, and clergy bring Jewish wisdom to life for learners from 15 U.S. states and four countries.
