Financial Review Subcommittee

The Financial Review Subcommittee (FRS) is a subcommittee of the Agency Support Committee (ASC), a standing Federation committee.

The goal of FRS is to monitor the fiscal health and management of Federation’s largest beneficiary agencies (Alper JCC Miami, Jewish Community Services, Miami Beach JCC, Michael-Ann Russell JCC, 7 Florida Hillels, 10 Jewish day schools).

The subcommittee’s role is to act as an early warning system for the ASC, identifying signs that may impact the financial sustainability of the agency, and in turn, the community’s investment. FRS is not intended to replace the fiscal oversight function of the agency’s board.

The FRS is comprised of volunteer financial professionals and financially savvy individuals who are able to analyze and interpret financial information and identify trends and impending issues.

The FRS meets 6 times a year (every other month) at Federation from 12-2pm.
