National Agencies Committee
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation currently provides $263,529 in funding to 28 national Jewish agencies. The National Agencies Committee (NAC) is charged with:
- Determining the funding criteria for national agencies
- Reviewing the work of the agencies
- Making funding recommendations to the Planning and Distribution Committee
- Making recommendations to add new or remove agencies from the group
The NAC meets 4 times a year (October-April) from 12-2pm at the Greater Miami Jewish federation.
Committee members are expected to:
- Attend committee meetings:
- Review assigned funding applications
- Call applicants to review relevant applications
- Present applications to the committee for discussion and participate in funding decisions for all applications
