Planning & Distribution Committee
The Planning and Distribution Committee is charged with the social welfare, health and educational planning and funding processes for the Greater Miami Jewish community. Through these processes the Federation, together with its affiliated and beneficiary agencies, identifies and fills unmet needs; develops appropriate services; identifies or creates the auspices to deliver services; determines priorities and specific programs within priority groups; allocates the funds necessary to render service; monitors and reviews services and priorities on an ongoing basis.
The Planning and Distribution Committee further serves as Trustee for contributors of community funds by assuring the efficient and economical operation of beneficiary agencies by extensive review of the budgets of the agencies and monitoring their fiscal operations on an ongoing basis.
