Young Leadership Division

The Young Leadership Division (YLD) of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation seeks to empower young, Jewish professionals (22-40ish) in Miami-Dade County to become active participants in building and strengthening our Jewish community.

YLD attracts Jewish individuals from various life stages (singles, married couples, and young families) in different professions and demographics, offering them a broad range of social, educational, philanthropic and leadership development opportunities to reflect the three pillars: Live, Give & Lead.

All YLD programs and events are designed to enhance the connection between those 22-40ish and the Jewish community by reinforcing the core Jewish values that define Federation’s sacred mission: G’milut Chasidim (deeds of loving kindness), Tikkun Olam (repair and restoration of the world), Tzedakah (philanthropic righteousness) and travel.

Participants come from all backgrounds and lifestyles, bringing a wide range of perspectives and experiences. The Young Leadership Division strengthens and cultivates an ongoing commitment to the Jewish community here in Miami, in Israel and in 60 countries throughout the world.
